VMR or Vorsteiner?

Just wondering which wheels are better VMR or Vorsteiner? Or are there any other brands you guys would recommend in that price range

Edited: Really, both about the same.

I've seen someone on this forum go black OZ Ultraleggeras for that price on his AW M3, looked pretty good actually.

Wheel meets all the standards, is made by a somewhat better process, and is lighter than VMR.

Both wheels comes from China or Taiwan so they are about the same. Both pass the same test, it just depends on what look you want.

i have the VMR's on mine for a winter set up. they are good so far, can't beat them for the price

I would go VMR because they are cheap and have good styles.

Neither. Save up some more and get something lighter and better quality.

i had a set of VMR on my 335 they were great daily drivers never had any issues with them.

I still think the best looking wheel set-up for the M3 is the 9.5" front/10" rear combo VMR VB3s.

Check out the Flow form Forgestar F14 wheels

This brand new lineup utilizes a combination of the best methods of forging and casting methods both in the same wheel. This is called Flow Form Casting, and is used by companies such as BBS and Enkei. These wheels are made to order and can be made to fit your BMW with a large range of offsets.

Flow Form Casting is a production procedure that turns the wheel (or rim section) over a special mandrel and three hydraulic rollers using tremendous pressure. The pressure and turning then force the rim area to form against the mandrel, creating the shape and width of the rim. During Flow Forming, the rim actually "flows" down to create the full rim width. During Flow Forming, pressure applied to the cast rim actually changes its mechanical properties, so its strength and impact values become similar to those of a forged rim. That translates to up to 15% less weight when compared to a standard cast wheel.

If you are looking for a mesh wheel, look at our SF-71 Wheels. The front is just 23.8lbs on a 8,5" width compared to over 25.0lbs for the other brands you are considering.

The SF-71 is the lightest and strongest wheel in its category.
