Curious as well, NJ is only about 3-4 hours away from me. Also how much would all of that cost, parts and labor?

We can consider Texas as long as we can get at least 4 people interested.

Please contact me by email at info@bimmer-tech.net.
Once you confirm you want to schedule the installation I will ask our installer from Kearny/NJ to contact you.

The cost depends on the car spec, so please send your VIN to info@bimmer-tech.net and I will get back to you with the cost.

I have the CIC and my car is a 2011 M3 produced in march 2010, i believe thats when they first started production of the 2011's. to get all the new features of the 6NR is it just a software upgrade or software & hardware upgrade where the combox needs to be upgraded as well??

Your iDrive need to be software-updated and your TCU (if equipped) needs to be replaced by the Combox.

Coming to Texas?

I'd be interested if it was in or near Austin, TX.

I'm Not sure but I think the TCU is no longer equiped on BMW cars produced January 2010 and up.

One thing I haven't figured out is i have the proper combox in my car already. Which is it the Combox Media or Combox Tele, since I've seen those two types.
I have BMW Assist, so I'm Assuming I have the Combox Tele in my car right now. Am I correct in saying that?

Op, are you saying that you don't need a snap in adapter anymore? What triggered that change?

There's no Combox in your 03/10-production car, the Combox was introduced in the USA 3-Series from 09/10-on production.

So, the place where I would see the combox is the TCU?

I have a 6/2011 production car with CIC+Combox I just want to add the USB cable instead of the snap-in and code Apps.
I already have a v41.1 coding setup, so can I just buy the cable kit from you?
Thanks

Ditto this question, my 2011 E90 is going to be 7/2011 production and I've ordered it with 6NR. What is the process to just add the USB cable support? Does it require coding or is it easier than that?

It's in Northern California.

The asian languages can be loaded but it turned out it also disabled the Navigation, so basically there is no solution.

If you are interested in the 6NR please send me your VIN by email at info@bimmer-tech.net

Unfortunately I have not found a trusted shop in the Washington area which could host a group buy.
If you have any suggestions please let me know.
