Reflector covers

So I bought bimmian lemans blue covers to replace the orange reflectors from turner motor sport. I spent a good half hour installing one of them but couldn't get it flush with the fender. I didn't bother working on the second one. I put my orange reflector back on, which snapped in easily and fit perfectly.
Has anyone experienced this and if so is this normal or are the covers faulty.

Dont buy from Bimmian. There are many complaints about their reflector fitment.

Buy painted OEM ones from IND. They will snap in just like your orange ones since its a factory part.

No, but you can use tape.
