It's why I have over 30k miles on my car. I only had my car for 1.5 years and I work from home (no commute).

So true. While I obviously do kick it from time to time, the subjective experience of this car and the enjoyment isn't only to be found at extreme speeds.

It is the absolute perfect combination of feeling "wired in" and yet having the harshness dialed out. It blows me away every time I drive it.

Go out at 5am and drive down US 1 through the Keys. Did this in an e46 M3 convertible a number of years back. Mostly straight, but still an incredible experience.

Just did yesterday to see Total Recall with my oldest son. I look for any excuse possible to take it out, provided it's not raining. Mine also is not a DD.

No
The gasping is reserved for people who say they turn off their DSC
They are normally grouped with child rapists on this forum

Add me to the list of junkies... just the other night I couldn't resist the urge
and took off for a late night drive at 2am out of the city in search of tight
corners and empty pavement!

After my first time on the track few weeks ago now I get a boner every
time I look at my car...

Couldn't imagine leaving it in the garage and not using as a DD,
just doesn't seem right! I can see keeping a Buggatti in the stable,
but an M3 is the perfect DD. I'm @ 25k miles in after 1.5 years and I work
from home.

I wish I had more time to visit the roads in the Pocono's....There's nothing here in Allentown...That I'm aware of at least

I agree, this is my favorite driving route (from Miami to Key West). There's about 42 bridges and amazing scenery.

I daily drive mine. Every time I hear the cold start it is like a drug. I also take the the long way to my destination if I'm not in a rush. Sometimes I like hitting the central coast outside the bay area.

I also like driving on 280 in the bay area and hitting tunnels in San Francisco. Ha!

Pebble beach/17 mile drive in a couple of days hopefully!

Avon mountain roads are fun.
also has you get closer to waterbury, Route 8 is a hoot with the winding roads on the highway. Also the Merritt Parkway.

Which road are you referring to? I think the best driving road in CT is route 7. Keep going west on 44 till you get to route 7 next to lime rock, there is a few scenic views along the way. Also, there is route 20.

Coming from the 335i, I found my self wanting to drive the M3 more than my 335i. I love the way it handles. Regardless, my 335i still a tough cookie, but it does not handle the road like the M3.

OP is that a serious question? Seems pretty obvious people with M3s would do this sort of thing.

That area is a big speed trap. There always cops catching speeders as it quickly goes from 60mph to 35mph or so.

Unfortunately south florida is completely flat and has no twisties.

Hadnt driven her in about a week. Pulled her out of the garage and even though it had been raining, foam gunned her and made her all pretty. Then, drove the piss out of her. Fell in love again. Put the window down just to take in the Meisterschafts melodious ear candy.
