They will either put you in the c, beginner group for the day or you can request a ride along with tom the organizer to place you in b or a depending on skill level. If you pm me I can give you his phone number to discuss with him.

Now this puts me in an interesting position: My car is still filled with house stuff from the move (haven't found a place to live yet), and I have no good place to bleed my brakes or swap in my track pads. Probably best that I sit out this round, but maybe I'll be able to convince the girlfriend to let me go... |

I can't tell you how many times something was "in stock" with bimmerworld but didn't receive it for 4 or more weeks. I would prefer a little honesty.........its not like you can order those parts somewhere else.

I've been burnt by this vendor in-stock thing a few times and now if I need something quickly, I always call the vendor even if the website says in stock... |

That's the thing, I did call. I was only ordering the exhaust and commented that the diffuser had been out of stock for over 6 months. They said oh hey we happen to have one in stock so you should order it now so you don't have to wait for production.

+1. True. You call....talk to a real person. They claim that it is sitting on the self ready to ship.....it doesn't ship for 3 weeks and you receive it in 4.

I know right. I built almost every part of my car from them. Talked to them about getting preferred customer discount/sponsor deal and they don't give any discounts. Not what I'm used to from other vendors I've talked to. Kinda sucks but I need their stuff.

PIR track day 3-15-14
There is a Alfa track day 3-15-14 that I am heading to. I know at least one E92 M3 that is also going. It looks like there is plenty of room if someone wants hit the track last minute.

Heading to the Ridge with Turn2 on Friday. First track day of the year and weather looks promising. Anyone else joining the fun.
Also signed up for BMWCCA on 5/16 at Pacific Raceways.

May 3rd. and 4th. NASA @ PIR
NASA has their DE, TT and Race weekend May 3rd. and 4th @ PIR. I think I will only attend Saturday and try to fit my E92 M3 into time trial TTB. I have to use the grocery getter while the race car is down for an engine swap.

BTW it is the Portland BMW club and not associated with the CCA. They are many of the same folks that work the Oregon PCA and HOD days. Good track days but a few of us got black flagged for sound on Mondays.
