I don't think it's possible to have week 8 for a 2011. March starts on week 9 so the earliest 2011 is probably week 9 or 10.

BMW NA (New Jersey) gave me week 10 build for 2011 ZCP. I expected that to be week of March 8th.

Today, BMW NA told me car went into production this morning. I'm skeptical - but then... Hope the guys aren't drinking too many Heineken's Friday afternoon (and are feeling good on Monday too).

I'm skeptical as well. I thought 2011s start production in March, regardless of how early you ordered.

it shows going into production this week.but its friday wo we will see, i just texted my dealer for an update.

Doubtful. My E90 was built weeks after the E92.

My car still isn't showing up on the BMW web site. I am hoping that it will appear tomorrow since it is March when the cars are to be built.

just got told week 14... and I ordered it 2 days ago. Just wondering how I could get an earlier production week than someone who ordered three weeks ago? domething doesnt seem right...

diferent dealers get different allocations and dates.

My E90 was in "Schedule for Production" for 8 weeks and then another few weeks before I actually saw the car. Basically, June 2008 order, arrived end of August 2008 at dealer. At the time I was upset because all of the E92 orders were being completed before my car, then I was told that BMW builds the E92s before the E90s.

Just my own experience. I may be wrong... It wouldn't be the first or the last time.

Go to BMW site and there is an owners online thing. You can put yiur vim in and track it.
