oil level

Tried to do a search for my exact problem but found nothing. I just had an oil change done yesterday. After driving it for a bit today I get a low oil warning light, the yellow one. I checked the stupid ass worthless gauge thats on the dash. Its not even registering any oil. I have gotten this before when it gets to the min level, but it has always shown something in there. I am thinking a new oil sensor? Or do I just need to drive it around a while for it to register? Thanks and sorry for a stupid question..

Drive it around. Maybe even for a couple of days.

This has frustrated many. I just make sure I put in about 8.5L and then I add more only after a day or 2 or 3. Years ago, I got worried and kept adding oil and overfilled it by about 0.5L.

Once your S65 is warmed up ,while you drive it should show you the oil level after 15-20 min.

This si the first time I have had this issue. The engine sounds normal and like I said I know there is oil in it. Stupid sensor.

Is there an appetite for a group order for a mechanical oil dip stick? Someone already produced and sold some , but I can’t recollect the company (perhaps Turner Motorsport)? Perhaps, if enough people are willing to buy, they could make some more.
