Not an owner yet, but hoping to be sometime soon. Just drove an 08 MT6 sedan and 10 DCT coupe at Dreyer Reinbold. DCT totally made me a convert. 2010's just out of the budget at the moment. Looking for a 2008/09 DCT now

Hope I'm not violating any forum rules but saw the Indianapolis M3 thread and thought I would ask if anyone has interest in a local 1995 M3 (automatic) black exterier and interior, tinted windows, aftermarket exhaust. The body is in great shape as well as the seats.

The only hitch is I discovered a bit of steam coming out of the exhaust and sure enough my mechanic confirmed it needs a new head gasket. We haven't driven it since.

Resurrecting this thread. Giving a shout out to all M's in the Indy area. I owned an alpine white SMG '02 M3 and just gave it up for a 6spd '08 M3! Looking to get it out to the track once I get some new tires on it...came with stupid Conti DWS on it (yuck).

It was fun, wanted a 6 speed, SMG was nice for the track. though Also, subframe was cracking, needed to do the reinfocement, something electrical was going on as my alternator kept taking a dump, therefore batteries were dying day and night, wheels were bent from indiana pot holed roads (SSR GT3s are soft! and wanted new ones anyways). and I really like teh V8 though the car feels a little big. E46 still looks very classy though, will miss it.

Next weekend cars and coffee is being held at Another Broken Egg. They are the parking lot east of where C&C is normally held on 96th and Meridian. Of course, it's all cars, not just BMWs. Hopefully, the weather holds out. I plan on being there. Other than that, I try to go to cars and coffee almost every weekend. Well, I guess there are also a handful of BMW CCA events around as well. Wouldn't be opposed to organizing another BMW only event.

I will be out of town next weekend for Cars and Coffee otherwise I would show up and meet some of you.

I would be more inclined to do things with the Indy BMW club however their website is terrible and doesn't do a good job of telling others when things are happening! Sorry, that is my personal rant.

I also need to do a better job at showing up to track events and autoX. I was spoiled when I went racing out in California (1.5 minute AutoX courses) but it got me back in the mood to toss around the M.

Saw two Interlagos, a LMB, and my AW e92M's at Cars and Coffee this last Saturday. Not sure I like the new location much, seemed like we were mixed in with the rest of the users of the strip mall, plus no refills on my iced tea. Probably the last appearance for my e92 this year since the 911 is back out of the shop.

I was one of those IB's!

We're you the white e92 m3? If so, that car is nicely put together. I love the wheels. Those gun metal in 18" y-spoke look great.

I am not super keen on the new location either. It looks bigger when it's empty but if fills up with non-participant cars fast.

Yep, that was me. Thanks for the compliment, the wheels are Apex Arc-8s. The MPerf spoiler looks great on the IB, I'm guessing that was your car? Noticed both of you had the Dinan exhaust, nice choice. The first e92 I test drove, at CarMax, had that exhaust, I think it was part of what sold me on the car

Ha! My car is pretty dirty too...but, I am going to try and find the time tonight to use the spray on waterless car wash so it is somewhat presentable.
