TWD - Black Mercedes Benz C63 AMG - Stage 3 Paint Correct & The Works! [IMAGE HEAVY]

Car: 2009 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG

Service: Stage 3 Paint Correction, Leather Condition, General Interior Clean & Engine Bay Clean

Comments:
- Paint felt like sandpaper and had medium swirls all over the car
- Lots of tar build up on the bottom half of the sides
- Minor holograms in certain light and just needed a deep clean to see the metallic flake in the paint again.
- Mercedes Benz' Ceramiclear is fantastic. It's very hard, but very rewarding to work with, as you will find out in pictures below!
- Once again, a happy owner with a car that looked like glass and felt super smooth!

I realised I have no after photos of the engine bay or interior

Titanium Silver BMW Performance 125i - Stage 1 Paint Correction

Car: 2009 BMW Performance 125i

Service: Stage 1 Paint Correction

Comments:
- Being silver, you could barely tell the car needed any work, but upon closer inspection you could see the usual imperfections, a few scratches here and there, micro swirls and a rough feel to the bottom half of the vehicle
- Few tar marks were obvious and dirt stuck in edges near seals
- Wheels and calipers needed a good clean too
- Gloss was restored back into the silver paintwork and as the owner put it “The car looked brand new again”

Not heaps of photos this time, but you get the idea

BMW 520d M Sport - Stage 2 Paint Correction

Car: 2011 BMW 520d M Sport

Service: Stage 2 Paint Correction

Comments:

- Car was delivered in overcast weather, so it looked generally tidy.
- Up close inspection showed some minor marks, and under LED and fluro lights there was severe holograms, buffer trails and further swirling over the entire car.
- Final result brought out the true colour of Carbon Black (blue pearl)

2009 BMW 135i Convertible - Stage 2 Paint Correction, Interior & Leather

Car: 2009 BMW 135i Convertible

Service: Stage 2 Paint Correction, General Interior Clean & Leather Condition

Comments:

- Car was covered in all sorts of imperfections (scratches, scuffs, watermarks, swirls, holograms, etc, etc). You name it, this car had it!
- Interior (being a vert) was dusty and full of dirt, etc.
- Client also wanted the advertising removed from the numberplate covers.
- Result was fantastic, although some deep scratches still remain in the paintwork, the majority of the car was brought back to a presentable condition - swirl free, and very glossy.

Supercharged E46 M3 - Stage 1 Paint Correction, Engine Bay & Body Wrap

Car: 2003 BMW M3

Service: Stage 1 Paint Correction, Engine Bay and Body Wrap Paint Protection

Comments:

- Although the car was reasonably straight, the car required a deep clean to remove long term contaminants from the paintwork.
- The titan silver paintwork hid some smaller light scratches but every last tar mark was visible.
- Deep clean made this car look brand new again. The owner thought some parts (eg rear bar and skirts) had been resprayed!
- The engine bay was full of dust and dirt had built up around the wiring loom. Engine presents as new again and the owner received many compliments the next day.
- Gloss was restored and paint will be protected for another year thanks to our recommended nano sealant.

E350 Cabriolet - Stage 1 Paint Correction, Interior Clean & Leather Condition

Car: 2010 Mercedes Benz E350 Cabriolet

Service: Stage 1 Paint Correction, General Interior Clean & Leather Condition

Comments:

- Diamond White (pearl metallic) paintwork was in fairly good condition but with minor contamination and tar marks clearly visible
- Heavy build up of dirt on wheels (brake dust, rotor dust, grime, etc)
- Paint lacked gloss (which is typical of Diamond White)
- After the exterior work, the gloss was restored and the metallic flake was obvious under direct sunlight.
- Typical convertible interior suffered from dust build up and random marks. Also some slightly shiny looking front seats.
- Interior was completely rejuvenated and the car was returned to factory condition.
- The owner was extremely happy with the outcome and so were we

Random before and after shots:

Car: 2011 BMW X3 2.0d M Sport

Service: Stage 1 Paint Correction & General Interior Clean

Comments:
- Solid white paintwork was heavily contaminated
- Heavy build up of dirt on wheels and under arches (brake dust, rotor dust, grime, etc)
- Car required more decontamination rather than paint correction
- 6 hour intensive clay of ALL paintwork was followed with a medium grade polish that ensured that the Alpine White popped
- Gloss restored and white paint looked very reflective
- Interior suffered from random marks, dirt and dust
- Owner was happy that the car looked like new again

Amazing work you do.... Just wondered what your thoughts are on Zymol Concours, I use it every three months, the car is detailed every six months and Concours 3 months after detail. Is it still a good wax or are there better products on the market.
Cheers

Thanks Dave. Appreciate the kind words

Firstly, Zymol make some fantastic products, no doubt about that.
Some people prefer waxes, personal choice.
The results I've seen on your car suggest that you're "doing it right" as they say, but...I personally find that there are better products for producing a more DURABLE finish, specifically, some of the new nano sealants on the market.

What sort of detailing are you getting done on the car every 6 months? If paint correction, I personally believe that it isn't necessary every 6 months, PROVIDED that the car is well maintained - ie, safely washed, wheels washed frequently and droppings/contaminants are attended to quickly.

You could add a durable and stunning looking nano sealant and top it off with a quick detailer every other week. Very very easy to maintain and your wash times could be reduced. Also rather than re applying a wax every 3 months, you could go on for 18-24 months.

Feel free to PM or email me if you require further advice. Happy to help out
