Wednesday:
Land at 8am in Munich
Tour the Welt, Museum, and factory tour
Beer. Sleep.

Thursday:
Pickup M3 at 9am at Welt
Leave right after (11am?)
Drive to Stuttgart to tour Porsche and Benz museum.
Drive back to Munich
Pass the fawk out.

Friday:
Head over to Berchtesgaden and maybe Salzburg
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...8,2.471924&z=9
Then back to Munich
Sleep

Saturday:
Wash M3 somewhere
Drop off
Explore Munich

Sunday:
Fly home with a grin on my face.

I think my only concern is Thursday. I have no idea if I will be able to get both museums in one day AND drive back to Munich?

Other suggestions are welcomed. Im really open to anything scenic.

This is what I would do:

Wednesday:
Land at 8am in Munich
I don't know if you can do early check in. If you do I would take a power nap for 3 or 4 hours.
Schedule the Factory Tour in the afternoon and BMW Museum

Thursday:
Pick up M3 at 9:00 This will take you around 2 to 3 hours including touring the Welt.
Head over to Berchtesgaden and do Eagle's Nest Tour and bunkers. Starts around 1PM.
Head over to Salsburg around 7:00pm and stay overnight. You can get the Marriot Rennasaince for $55 on priceline.

Friday:
Tour Salzburg and return to Munich.

Stuttgart is 2.5hr drive to do it in one day and be able to visit the museums. I would stay around Munich and Salzburg.

^ Oops no idea how i missed your post.

So you would pick touring Salzburg over Stuttgart? I need to read up more to see what that town has to offer me.

Seems like the majority really enjoyed Berchtesgaden/Salzburg combo. Guess its a must-see. I do like your itinerary and I just wished i had more time to fit Stuttgart somewhere.

Nice to read that you guys are doing ED as well

I'm scheduled for an ED pick up of my E90 M3 on June 23rd but looking to reschedule for a June 26th pick up (on my bday!). I look forward you to your guys' pictures

The wife and I are staying for about 3 weeks in Europe. The only driving we plan on doing in the M3 will be roundtrip from Munich to Venice (with stops along the way).

Can't wait!

Jesal,

Been looking for your post-trip follow up post with pictures! Can't find em! Reason I ask is that your car and trip will be my exact trip as well!

Next month I'm planning on ordering an IB E90. I got ED for $1k over ED invoice as well!

Now I need to plan a 2-3 day trip and figure the best time to pick up so I can time my order properly!

Must see pics of your car!

nm found it
