Well, what is his expectations? Wants? Needs?
There are plenty of cars out there for under 43k and good ones too. It'll be hard to narrow down a few without listing a few things that might narrow the playing field down a bit. |

+1. What kind of car does he want? Sport, lux, sedan, coupe, etc., lots of choices.

B8 A4 3.2 if he wants luxury
EVO if he wants performance G37 if he wants a bit of both.

So then I guess that rules out Infiniti as well. What about a C350 sport? It's a little more "grownup" I guess.
If I had a choice in that price range, and I couldn't choose a 335i, I'd most likely go for the new B8 A4. It's big, mature, luxurious, and good looking.

ED 335i, well equipped even.
In the "big mature" class, Acura RL's can easily be had around $40K. Infiniti M35 could be done as well. |

That's true. Audi's are really improving. I like 'em a lot now. They sorta started to catch my interest about three years ago with news of the RS4.

I really, really dislike that car. Too chick-ey for me.
