PSS going on today!

So excited about mounting Michelin PSS today! Last straw was the Conti's wouldn't pass annual inspection, plus it was slipping and sliding. I decided to go stock on my 220's (245/265). I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Great choice. Even before they get scrubbed in you'll notice more grip than the Conti's.

Just got the car back after the install. I like it a lot! Need to push it a bit more. Do tires have a break in period?

Yes. I learned it the hard way. With my new PSS (stock size), I had no grip launching the car. After 500 miles they hooked much much better.
Here's a bit info why:

I run now with PSS , best tires in wet & dry ,and i would buy them again in a heartbeat
Only thing is that they make a little more road noise than the PS2 .

My car came with the PS2s and I change out for the PSS after 8000 miles. The PSS is a better tire. It has better grip, lasts longer, and is a lot cheaper.

You will not be disappointed.

Two quick thoughts as stated by many on this forum:
1. More planted feel.
2. Less rear axle squirm

Love PSS! Going to have to get new rear's by next summer

When you said your conti's wouldn't pass inspection, is it because of the tread depth?

Agreed with everything - PSS is a great tire on the M3.

Looking to use mine as Wet Tires for the Track and also as street tires.

On what wheels did you mount them?
Would they fit the OEM 19"??!
