it looks like Dinan raised the coupe price too and now the sedan is $100 more. the whole 10% is BS because they are raising prices at the same time. WTF?

Hahahahha. It's so funny. It's totally a joke.
I wish w/o debating, I ordered the coupe one yesterday. WTF.
IF it's only 100 more, I'll just go ahead order sedan version.
Thanks Dinan jacking up the price so I could make my decision so easily.

This is a joke. They give a coupon and then increase the price essentially the same amount. They give rebates that never come in.

You should go with another brand. I personally have H&R , I have a friend with schnitzer we track our cars all the time and have no issues. I was amazed when I first got them installed the ride comfort seemed identical, until you hit the M-button and the EDC goes to sport wow this is how the car was ment to come from the factory! I aslo had a local BMW dealer install them and they had no issues installing these aftermarket springs. Hopes this helps.

Think of it this way ... none of the other springs offers provide anything other than springs so I am sure you would be fine with the coupe version if you decide to stay with this kit.
You should call them and ask this question ?

I don't think they are manufacturing those rear perches themselves, and is they re-use BMW perches from another model, it seems a bit high to pay $200 extra just for that ...

Also if you buy Stage 2 kit, the difference between E92 and E90 is a bit less ... So, maybe it makes sense to go with Stage 2 and save a bit ? But again, the sway bar in Stage 2, is it Dinan's sway bar or is it thicker sway bar from E93 M3 painted in blue?

I say wait a bit ... They should have a bigger sale around new year ... They usually give you 10% off if you want to buy something any time ... I even got a coupon for 10% off form them ...

I am speechless ...

"Unfortunately, the economy has not turned the corner, so we have decided to offer a 10% discount on all Dinan products "

Does this mean lets raise our price ?

1. I'm kinda thinking about getting just coupe suspension kit for my sedan if it's NOT that different parts (well-rest of the suspension products share exact same suspension kits for coupes and sedans. So I don't think it's not that different in terms of quality of ride).

2. Yes- I prefer up front 10% off over 15% rebate that I have to fill and wait like 4 months.
BTW, this guy from sales Chris he is also on this forum "550Chris"

In one of his posts he mentioned what is included in the kit ... nothing was said about special rear pads

1. No you don't pay extra $200 for the perches anymore. Since they jacked price up on coupe to 1k, it's only $100 more. Seems very reasonable. Isn't it?

2. Good point on the state II kit. Since I don't see any single aftermarket brand sways but Dinan has one. So it's very possible they rebranded E93 one.

When I called first time, he didn't know what's exactly different b/w coupe and sedan versions. So he asked me to hold and asked tech guy.

Coupe's original price: 899
Coupe's new price: 999 - 10% sale =899.1

So they actually make 10 cents more than before with sale now.
I really wish I bought it on Monday before they jacked up the price.

Really? I never really see Dinan going on sale more than 10%.
I saw 10-15% off rebates before but never seen anything going more than that.

It's every time like that ... Every time I call, he needs to check this or that ... it seems like he doesnt know anything and he is the sales person covering West coast and part of the Central US ...

I just checked spec for Dinan sway bar and the E93 M3 sway bar.

E93 OEM Sway = 28 mm
Dinan Sway = 28.5 mm

I guess it's not the same one but per Tischer, I can get sway and the bushings for under 200. I think that's the best bang for the bucks sway bar upgrade.

I just ordered Dinan kit for sedan (along with exhaust).
I'll take pictures and inspect if I see any BMW part# on the spring perches. (I should receive by early next week but shipped directly to my shop so I won't see till next sat.)

Will do. I really don't agree with their pricing but I want minimal drop with slightly tighter feel so Dinan was really the only option.

But I'll def take pictures (as I'm going to waste 4 hours at the shop watching them install on next sat morning) of the parts so hopefully, other people can just buy those parts from the parts dept.

So far we know:

a. Front bumpstops: E36M3 bump stops.
b. Front guide support: Stock with about 3 mm shaved.
(that's all coupe owners to know)
c. Rear spring perches: I'll find out next sat.
(for sedan owners)

Awesome. So you're changing to Dinan front sway only? Let us know if you feel a difference and if it's worth the $500.

No, I'm getting Dinan stage I suspension, not the sway.

Can you also measure the Front guide support Stock vs Dinan ?

I am in the same boat man ... I hate their customer service and it is kind of lame to give 10% off and raise your prices by 10% ... but I do like their little drop ... H&R springs were to stiff for me ...
