Powder Coating Shops SF Bay Area

Does anybody know of a decent priced shop that will powder coat my wheels? I am located in the Vallejo area.. Called Rite Way in Walnut Creek and they quoted 185/rim is this reasonable?

Rite Way does good work and you get what you pay for. That being said, $185 a wheel is a bit pricey. It varies heavily between shops, I've seen anywhere from $75-200 for a sand blast and powder coat.

If you don't want to pay a ton, this guy may be your ticket:

Thanks for the help. I agree that you get what you pay for.

There's a shop in livermore that I went too and they did $300 for my apex wheels. They did a good job. I felt like one wheel out of 4 had a bit darker shade than the rest of the wheels but it's hardly noticeable when you see the car in general but when you clean/inspect the wheels.

Not a bad price at all, the Prismatic Blue on those Apex's looks very nice. I'm tempted to powder coat this set of ARC-8's I have in Magnesium Blue. I take it you ended up selling those wheels to a E46M owner? I've seen them floating around on M3Forum

Did you bring them just the rims without tires? That's not a bad price at all.

It's cheaper if you have them removed before you bring them. They would do it but they'll bring the wheels themselves to a tire shop and add the expense to the final bill.

This might be super late but I do powder coating for $100/wheel and I'm in Walnut Creek.
