Exactly. No doubt the 991 will run circles around a 997 Turbo, but give me the Turbo. It'll actually be ownable to mortals like myself, has 6MT, still has Mezger engine and IMHO, looks better than a 991.

I need to try to convince all Speed Yellow 997.1 Turbo owners to dump theirs since it's so "old" and "dated" for the newest version.

Porsche web site typo, however, Porsche is a little whack when it comes to options.

They listed aluminum pedals for the 991 gt3 @ $9999. that has since been removed.

Its basically the badgewhores whining. Lets just keep it honest here. You can complain about the looks, definitely. And that i can understand. Its best look IMO is from the back tailight view.
But when you here its a "nissan"...lol gtfo.
Plus its, as its current state, a 100k car. Not some modified 4banger. So yea, badgewhore central.

But for that amount $$ Id get a lambo or a used lambo. U might even be able to swing a UGR lambo. Used lambos are DEFINITELY in that price range.

If you sit in the new 991 for 2 second you'll understand what people mean by "it's just a Nissan", no way I would pay $100K for a car and pass my day looking at this no matter how fast the car is!

Wow. I've never cared for the GT-R so I have never took notice of the interior. But that interior is downright hideous, it should be a sin to have that kind of interior in a 100k car.

The plastic looks cheap in quality and the steering wheel leather doesn't look any nicer then my girlfriends 2012 civic.

The porsche (991) interior improved in presentation a lot since prior model variant. Nissan can do the same for the price difference, no doubt. The new 991 Turbo and Turbo S getting too expensive. You can get a GT-R plus a nice C7 Vette for the same price. However for some there is no substitute! (not me)

Yep but in my book, 2 car I don't like is not better then one I like!

But anyway I don't make enough money to buy a 991 turbo and even if I was, I'm not sure I would spend all of that on a car, to me the perfect car still is the M3 with a blower, the price is fairly cheap, the interior is top quality and it sure is as much fun to daily drive as the GT-R!
