Yea, I LOVE the ZCP's but they are pain to keep up. I almost wish they came in a titanium color like on the newer Shelby GT500's.. At least then the dirt wouldn't show as bad. Oh well.

While the PS21 gel works decently, I don't agree that it will prevent rust on the rotors. It lessens it some but definitely does not prevent it.
My post might have been confusing. I didn't mean the P21s will prevent rust if the wheels get wet again from rain, it prevents the rust from forming on the rotor during and after the wash. If you use a regular shampoo, it typically causes the rotors to rust. The P21s is better then decent but it has to be agitated with a brush rather than sprayed on and just rinsed off.

I use soap and different brushes as others stated. Proper cleaning of the ZCP wheels takes me about an hour for all.....

And I pull the wheels out once year to clean them properly and detail the wheel wells at that time as well.

seriously, for hard to clean wheels, I would consider opti-coating them. it will negate the need for any wheel cleaner like sonax or P21s if you do. For the next year, just soap and water should do the trick every week!

I negated the shiny ZCP wheels pain in the ass process by having them painted black. LOL

I have pretty small hands and I can't reach through anything on these wheels....

Either way, for a quick clean I just use the daytona brush with SONAX, it gets most of the stuff off. If I am really getting down and cleaning them up/waxing them, I take the wheels off completely.
