There is a minimum standard that the days must meet in order to be able to purchase the insurance.

Porsche & BMW club schools will be approved along with days like Engineered Automotive,6th Gear,CMP lapping,Apex where there is instruction for novices with classroom instruction. There are many other days that should be OK once the details are clarified.Contact Graham if you need more details.

Right now the minimum insurance is $30000 to a max of $150000 with a premium of 1% with a 10% deductible. They are going to offer discounts for multiple days with no claims.

Interesting. Might be something to look into with the new car on the way.

Thanks.

Never knew such a thing existed - thanks for the link.
Noted that the FAQ section suggests that this is for instructor/classroom type events only, so it might not apply to the self-organised track days

The event has to meet a minimum criteria to be certified in order for particpants to be able to use this insurance. If you have any questions call Graham Neale 416 587 0261.
