Lightbulb Will these wheels fit my 2010 bmw 328i?

I have a 2010 bmw 328i coupe with the m sport package. My standard fit is 225/40r18 for fronts and 255/35r18 for rear. Can I put 245/40/r18 snow tires on for all four?

This is the exact setup I have on my E90 M3 and it works great. Also what Apex Wheels recommends:

OP has a 328, not M3. M3 fitments are way too aggressive for non-Ms.

OP - this is the e9x M3 forum. Post your question in the wheels/tires forum on the non-m e9x forum:

Looks like Apex Wheels recommends the same winter setup for OP’s car:

Not sure what I’m looking for specifically. However, all of the offsets for 8.5” and 9.5” wheels were less aggressive (higher offsets) than stock e9x M3 wheels. If there’s a specific fitment then please list the wheel width, offset and tire sizes. I’m curious to see what winter setup Apex recommends for both M and non-M e9x.

Not sure where you got lost, so I'll post directly here in addition to the links I provided above. Apex Wheels Winter wheel/tire recommendations:

E9X M3:
####
Front & Rear: 18x9" ET30 or ET31 (EC-7) with 245/40-18 winter tires
Available in: ARC-8, EC-7, EC-7RS, FL-5, SM-10, SM-10RS, VS-5RS
Direct fit.
####

E9X Pre-LCI non-M (what the OP has):
####
Front & Rear: 18x9" ET30 or ET31 (EC-7) with 245/40-18 winter tires
Available in: ARC-8, EC-7, EC-7RS, FL-5, SM-10, SM-10RS, VS-5RS
Direct fit.
####

Between the "####" is direct copy from the Apex website. I hope this clarifies.

Very surprising recommendation for the M which comes with rear 9.5et23 or 10et25 wheels from the factory and oem recommend winter tire sizes are 235/255. 9et30/31 are extremely sunken into the rear wheel wells. Handling in any conditions will not be optimal for the M with a 245 square setup with the front sticking out ~0.25” and the rear sunken in ~0.75” - a 1” combined relative shift in front-rear wheelbase per side. Again, this is going to change, along with a 245 square setup, the balance and handing, resulting in massive understeer which is the last thing you want in snow driving conditions. Absolutely terrible recommendations for the M in any driving conditions.

Here in Michigan we get snow, and I like to safely drive the car. This is the setup I have and it works great in snow. That said, I do use spacers to correct the wheelbase discrepancies you mentioned.

Yeah, odd recommendations with one being less aggressive than stock and the other very aggressive compared to stock. I guess they’re probably using the most aggressive 9” wheel offset they offer on the M.

I run Dunlop 3D 235/40-18 on 18x8et27 and 255/40-18 on 18x9et20. Balance and driveability are good.
