Attn: Contact Lens Wearers.

Do you buy your lenses online and if so what website do you use? I want to try out a contact lens website but I don't want to get scammed. I have always bought my lenses at my eye doctor with no problem but I think that I am way over-paying. Help a brother out.:

i used to use 1800contacts.com before i got lasik. they've got fair prices, quick shipping, and excellent customer service. but if you can afford it, you should get lasik...totally worth it! i know a lot of doctors are doing "recession specials" around here right now, might be a good chance to shop around yourself!

Since I don't mind wearing the contacts I have absolutely zero interest in lasik at this time.

Have used 800 Contacts for 5 years. Good customer service. And reliable.

Your pic in your sig is broken BTW. Good luck with the contacts! I have considered lasik a few times. Would be nice, but if they Fkd up, that would not be a good scene

I know the pic broke about a month ago and I have been too lazy to fix it. I really don't come around here much anymore so I didn't see the need I guess.

Yeah same here but I don't think I'll be quitting IT anytime soon. Around -5 in both eyes with medium/high astigmatism. I wear toric lenses which cost about 180-220 per eye. Can't get Lasik either because they suck your eye in a vacuum during the procedure which... in my case may cause a retinal detachment (I also have Lattice Degeneration, a retinal disease).

It sucks... but at the same time not a day goes by where I am not thankful for having my eyesight and 20/20 vision with the aid of contacts.

I use http://www.lens.com/. I found my particular contacts to be cheaper there.

+1 on costco. I wear daily contacts (which I recommend because you don't have to deal with cleaning or buying solution) and their prices are definitely lower then any of the prices I have seen online.

45 is a lot. Must be non disposable or hard contacts? I pay about 27 for the acuvues disposable contacts at costco.
