to square or not to square

well after a short stint with a 996tt, i'm back... let the modding begin!

i'm looking for the right summer package that is focused first on performance, second on aesthetics and third on value ($$$). thinking of going with gts wheels with largest rubber (ps2's) i can put on. specifically thinking of either 265-35 or 275-35 for front and 275-35 or 285-35 for rear, with spacers as fit allows (after lowering with H&R sport plus springs).

what are the trade-offs (performance, fitment) between staggered and square?

does anyone see any issues either way?

Thanks! and it's great to be back.
