It's come down to this. Which one? BBS or stock? I think stock still looks slightly better, but weighs more?

Lucid: I actually like the stock 19's better for some reason. I know, it's crazy.

That's a tough one. I like the concavity of the OEM 19s.
The RS-GTs definately have more presence.

Well, shit. I DON"T KNOW!!!

Yes, the RS-GTs look more aggressive, but the stock ones still somehow look better...

Oh, fuck, I'm hoping that my order will go 150 by Tuesday so that I don't have to decide.

Enough obsessing for the night...

There will never be enough obsessing....

Does your VIR have 19s listed?

Hmm, I might have to call around tomorrow to see if anyone still has a spot open with 19s.
I know the ones my dealer was looking at didn't have the 19s spec'd out.
Just wonder if anyone does...

IMHO a tough call. The BBSs look too "airy" for the E92, but viewed up close they have more interesting detail while the stock 19s look sorta blah-ish. I think the tie breaker is the color of the car. For the lighter colors where the creases & curves and other body details really stand out, I'd probably want to avoid a wheel that draws your attention away from the body. For dark colors where a lot of body detail is lost, I think the wheel needs to be the star of the show.

One thing to remember is that the stock 19s are likely to be damn near bulletproof since BMW is not going to sell a wheel that generates lots of returns. They generally will trade weight for durability every time. If you have to drive on crappy roads the stock 19s will not disappoint

I have ordered Jerez and my current thinking as of 10:55 is a multi-piece wheel with a shiny deep dish (but not chrome) with a dark hub and rivets

Oh, it's 10:56 now, beginning to change my mind....

I agree with pretty much everything you said, including the sentiment of the last sentence!

The RSGT's TireRack has is the same offset as my RSGT's. why did you guys say mine arent gonna fit?
is there a problem with the hub, or the way the wheel is drilled for lugs??

They'll fit onto the hub, but the offset doesn't push them out to be flush w the wheel wells. My thought was that BBS will be making available wheels w an offset specific for the e92 M3 soon.

The M3 is one of the prime showpiece vehicles for BBS.

What do you guys think about the CH's? I was planning on getting 19's and painting them black. Do you think they will look good on the M3? Thanks!

haha, thanks for the honest reply. My M3 will be AW. I wanted to go with a flat black wheel. I love the classic design of the CH's but I am open to other styles as well. I'm not really feeling the RGR's for some reason though. I love the LM-R's but not for the price. lol.

btw, when it comes to rims, ur paying like 3-5k. i guarantee that not everybody will like your wheels no matter what. so get what YOU think is nice and forget what people say/think. unless they're paying for them maybe

yeah that's true, but i'm pretty open to see what else is out there that will look good. My car is a coupe. I had a hard time finding blacked out CH's when I did a search for pics. But if we can find some good pics, i'd love to do a PS so that I could get a better idea.

idk, i thought his brother has a G35. BBS on G35 might look funny... idk

but hey... not like wheels are a permanent mod! they're the easiest to change every couple months. get your CH's to get that out of your system and when ur bored, swap out

I want to do this: diamond black RSGT's, then switching to DPE's probably SL5's, might consider gold rims for a few months, then going back to LM's --> LM-R's
