you know what's amazing? how many times the ball was loose by both teams throughout the entire game, but only 2 actual turnovers, both in the last minute of the game.

i don't think so. the only one that could see playing time immediately in the NFL is Posey. For Pryor to even sniff the grass he'd have to change positions to WR and he won't want to do that.

plus if they leave the'll completely burn their bridges back to OSU. Fans will dispise them, other past players will turn their backs. considering that the NFL only loves their heroes, college is where all the old men go back to once the NFL no longer cares about them. so many players were gods in college and Joe blow in the pros. where do they all go back to? think desmond Howard, Craig krenzel, just to name the 2 of the top of my head.

Herron could play in the NFL next year if he wanted to go. He knows that. These kids that sold their college shit obviously don't give two damns about the school. It's all about getting paid, and they'll get that in the NFL. Even with just one contract from a mid-round selection will be more money than these guys ever would have dreamed of growing up.

I agree with you. Posey is ready for primetime, but honestly, he didn't have a standout game. Yeah, he had a TD, but in personal opinion Sanzenbacher had a bigger game. Pryor's not leaving unless he's an idiot (which he very well may be, after the crap he did).

Posey had a bad year. All this blah blah blah preseason able being Pryor's go to guy, well Dane was our best reciever the last 3 years. Posey just had 1 good game, last year's Rose Bowl, he didn't show up for any other big games. Dane makes all the clutch plays, Posey just drops the ball when we need him to come through.

The problem with the SEC debate is that they do have a good conference from top to bottom. Yes, the B10 or Pac-10 elite can hang with the best from the SEC (assuming they show up). But, programs like LSU, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, etc, are better than many of the team in the B10 (Indiana, Illinois, Purdue, etc).

I wish Persa hadn't gotten hurt near the end of the season, because I think NW would've pulled out a bowl victory. I think PSU blew the game, and MSU didn't show up at all. Honestly, MSU had to play an A+, flawless game to have a chance to beat 'Bama... they didn't show up, and they got killed. That game reminded me of Cincy and Florida last year. They just didn't show up and Tebow made them pay.

I don't think you can compare this year's BSU or OSU teams to last year's teams, or to last year's Oregon team. But, it would've been nice to see Oregon play a team with a much better defense than the Tigers have. I have a feeling it's going to be a fun game to watch and the scoring will be high in the first half. After halftime, both teams will make some adjustments and the defenses will play better.

That being said, I'm hoping the Ducks pull it off. Cam and the SEC can suck it!
