rotor rust ring

Anyone seen this before and know how to get rid of it? It's only on one section of the rotor and does not go away with normal brake use.

Looks like you have a problem. Either incorrect pads or a seized caliper.

Is it the same on both sides?

Nope, just on that one side. Brand new brakes and rotors too.

Hmm... This is how I got it from the dealer. Might be time to bring it back.

There is definitely a major issue with them. It looks like a seized caliper or maybe a badly fitted pad. I would take it back to the dealer straight away

How long has it been that way? That could really eff up your rotors?
