Garage List
I wish we had M exclusive dealerships in the US.

It would mean
1) better service experience and quality (e.g. Not having to tell them which oil to use, not dealing with them setting wrong tire pressure)
2) better loaner cars hopefully
3) less likelihood they treat your car as a novelty for joyride purposes

haha yeah but trust me you guys are still lucky..because the M5 in Singapore costs USD 500,000 and we don't get any loaners when we send in car for normal servicing, the only time a loaner is given is if the car has some major issue and will take a long time to repair.

This is outdated news I'm afraid. Russia opened the 2nd dedicated M dealership on Nov 2011.

Yikes!!! Looked at the price list that you posted later: even if converted from Singapore dollars to USD, 500k = 395k USD! That's a heck of a lot of cash!!!

Singapore is the most expensive place in the world to buy a car IIRC due to heavy taxes levied to discourage too many cars being on the road.

I attached an ad from the newspaper when i was there a few weeks ago. Entry level Audi A3 for $154kSGD = $120,000US.

My company ships all over the world (including Singapore) and I am always fascinated by this kind of pricing imbalance. The potential for "arbitrage" must be quite tempting for the auto market in Singapore.
