Yum, looking forward to getting mine (I'm your #3).

I looked at all the options: full width, partial (like this one), 3 fin, 2 fin (like this one). For me the full width and 3 fin options were too much, just like I didn't want a full front lip. I went with the BMW OEM splitters and this diffuser as I think they match well and are "just enough", not too much, too "busy" CF.

Thanks

That should be a perfect combo. Do you have an exhaust to go with the new diffuser?

Not yet. Haven't figured out which way I want to go. Haven't really researched it yet. I hear BMW may be expanding the performance parts line for the M3. We'll see. I'm not gung ho on a full replacement, maybe mufflers only. Honestly sound would probably be a bigger driver than any power gains.

Eisenmann Race?

Yeah, I was wondering about that too.

Looks like a relief cut for the curvature. The good news is that it appears to not be visible from the rear and above. The weave looks to be aligned there. Look right at the "top" edge which is the rear edge of the diffuser actually. I trust that the other side, which is not visible in the picture but will be on the car is lined up. The part we're seeing should be hidden from any direct view and the exhaust tips are there filling up that space as well.

Nate - Are they all like this? Is my guess that there is alignment of the weave on the visible portion of the diffuser correct? Thanks.

Hi guys,

There is a cut in the carbon that nees to be there on the bottom side of the diffuser. This allows the carbon to bend to the contours of the part. If you dont do this, you end up with carbon that is bunched up and distored greatly. The small seam is allows for the best looking finish on the part. Youll find its quite common on parts of this complexity.

Youll see in the many rear shots posted early in this thread that the seam is not really visible much once installed. We take great care to align this part as good as possible and find the quality is unmatched in the industry for carbon composites.

Regards,

Greg

I know it took Greg quite a bit of engineering time to get this part perfect. The results speak for themselves... what a great diffuser...
