The sweet Spot RPM

Has anyone figured out at what RPM is the best to launch from in a 6-speed? I was playing around this weekend between 3,500 and $4,000. I was still getting some wheel spin.

Hmmm. $4000 for a new transmission. Sounds cheap. j/k

A little bit of wheelspin is desirable, generally. As long as you can keep it straight. Do you have EDC? If so, what DSC and EDC settings are you using? Play with these along with the launch rpm and see where that gets you.

opps i mean 4,000 RPM At work must have money on my mind...

In MDM mode i get a little spin and then i feel the power letting up. DSC off I get more spin.

EDC is what i have really been playing with. I use to keep it on Sport all the time and then I read that in normal the car will adjust to the driving conditions. I do feel it tighten up when I am hard on it. I would not thing the EDC has much to do with tire spin.

EDC on normal will give you a bit better grip since it is initially softer.

I've read that EDC on comfort is the best mode to use for launching. I could be wrong. You need to experiment. Also, with the 6MT, a lot depends on the driver. Good luck.
