**OFFICAL 818/805 Bimmerfest 2012 Caravan**

Alright people,

Bimmerfest is a couple months away and it's time to get the caravans organized! The caravans out to Bimmerfest is arguably one of the best parts of the event! Last year we had well over 100+ cars occupying every lane of the 101 all the way into Pasadena! Let do it again! Here's the details...

Where: 4754 Commons Way Calabasas, CA 91302-3363

This is the same spot we met last year. Worked great, access to the freeway was easy, plenty of parking with no hassles. Vons is right in the complex so you can grabs food or whatever you guys need before we depart.

When: Saturday, May 19 2012. We will meet from 7:00-7:45 A.M. We will depart at 8:00 A.M. Bimmerfest gates open at 9:00 A.M. It take about a hour to get there from Calabasas. So please try to be on time, we want to arrive at the show in a timely manner.

Post up if you plan on attending! This is a really awesome part of the event! Please remember to obey the speed limits and don't do anything stupid. CHP will be monitoring the highways like always, they know of the annual event. We will also try to organize a merge with the Bay area caravan coming down the 101, to make the Caravan ever better.

We will be taking the 101 to the 134 to the 210 to Rose Bowl Dr.

Any questions... post them up! Thanks

Here is the Map. Meet spot in Calabassas Commons parking lot in RED. To avoid confusion. When we leave we will follow the BLUE HIGHLIGHTED ROUTE. Also, this is NOT a race to Pasadena, it's a collective cruise. Please try to keep it together.

Here's a few photos from last year. As you can see we had a huge turnout. This will also be cross posted on other forums. Lets top last year!

We need to make sure this year we get on the freeway at a different on ramp so we dont all get split up like last year. We got chopped up into little mini caravans =/

We are addressing that. That is why we have a highlighted route and we also might have the local sheriffs dept come out and block the intersection for us like we did once before.

We are trying this time to do a better job keeping the caravan together on the way to the event. Some people like to speed off and it breaks things up.

Just remember this is a "collective cruise" and not a race. It's much cooler when we have a large group than scattered cars.

Bimmerfest newb here.

What happens once you arrive?
You pay for parking and to get in?

What do you do once you're there?

Thanks.

waste money by paying for expensive parking, walk around, spend too much $ on medicore food, get tired, see the same thing over and over again, etc

It's still fun though
