Bee Pollen (Sticky yellow dots)

How annoying is it! Spring hasn't even officially arrived yet (tomorrow) and already my 3 day car is laden with it.

Problem is all my car detailing stuff from chemguys hasn't arrived yet... Is it an issue to leave on paint?

The yellow dots that get all over my car (and others in my neck of the woods) are hummingbird poop!

I have this problem too. I did some research and it's bee poop! The only way to remove it is a careful fingernail "pop" followed by some instant detailer. It's very annoying.

Wash your car, then use a clay bar with detailer spray. It's cheap, very easy and works great.

You don't need to clay your car just for the bee droppings. Remove carefully with fingernail and wash. My philosophy is to try and touch your paint as little as possible. Over waxing and claying belive it or not will start to take a toll on your paint and leave swirls. I have this yellow dots all over my car right after I wash it.

When I had my Yellow 997S, bees thought the car was just a big flower. Everytime I pulled up to a light I would get a swarm of bees around the car and the accompanied mustard yellow bee droppings.

BMW has a tree sap remover, Turtle Wax also has a sap and bug remover. It's almost like a lotion that you rub and clean off. It's worked well for me...

Move out to Southern CA... I almost guarantee you would also be annoyed. They are a dark mustard color and are about as big around as a O. They are tough to get off with any normal/careful/gentle washing process and they can cover your car.

My prior post about them being hummingbird poop was incorrect. I can't believe bees poop that much...
