how many miles is too many??

Looking to buy a 335i from 2008-2010. How many miles should i draw the line at. I will not be purchasing a warranty and might do a few bolt ons, ecu tune, down pipe, etc. Im just looking ahead for resale and upkeep. Just sold my nat aspirated m3 and never owned a turbo.

Same rules as any other car, IMO -- check the maintenance history. High mileage isn't necessarily a bad thing. Highway miles are far easier on a car than city miles.

My 10/06 build 335I has 130K miles on it, with 5 years of track use. ZERO issues. You can contact me, and come check out my car. I might sell it to you for at least 20K
