20" Wheels on ZCP Stock Springs? Any Pics?

Has anyone put 20" wheels on their ZCP M3 with the stock springs?

I'd really like to do 20" HRE or BBS wheels on my yet to be delivered E90 M3 but I'm not sure how it would look without a further drop. Are there any pics floating around?

Also curious to see 20's on the stock 2011 ZCP springs. Planning to get adv.1's with the ZCP. My gut tells me it will need to be lowered.

That was the first set of ADV7 Deep concaves produced. He is extremely lowered though.

I would not suggest running 20's without a drop, though. You will only achieve the "4x4" look.

considering i plan to go with these wheels and I will need to lower the car it really doesnt make sense to even order the ZCP package. It gives you a lower ride height and different wheels- but I will be changing both- might as well save the 2500 for the ZCP package.

Absolutely no reason to order the ZCP. Consider the $2500 a deposit towards the 20's.

ZCP is actually only 500 dollars more if you are getting ZTP and the standard 19's.

It's quite worth the money.

Aren't there DSC changes as well?

Im not sure it would be worth the extra $500 for me, but for some it would.

I would order the ZCP and just put some new springs on. No new wheels.

with after market springs and shocks you loose the dsc option. unless theres a company that makes a set with the dsc plug in.

Delete EDC option and go coilovers. Better set up IMO especially on 20s since springs are way to bouncy and make ride hard.

Plus coilovers let you adjust ride heights for perfect look and balance

Here is a pic of an edition m with 20 inch ADV7 and stock ZCP suspension height. Looks pretty good?

FYI: That car actually has the ADV7.1 (Forged One Piece). I mention this because the one piece wheels tend to look larger than the same size three piece.

Looks like the ZCP package does change the DSC mapping so Im going to stick with the comp package.
BOB MG: Is this the car that you're refering to with the stock comp package springs/ride height and 20's? If so I wouldnt touch the ride height- it looks perfect as is!~

I didn't read through the whole thread. Is that really the stock ZCP ride height? Looks fantastic on 20" wheels. Thanks for the link.

Agreed for the most part. Step lips really make wheels look smaller. BBS LM wheels are the best example.

Yes Mike is my friend and he wouldn't lie.

Trust me I have been the driving force behind his modding

I have been nagging him to get coil overs to, but his stock Edition suspension is cool being 10mm lower than standard.

I would still get coil overs and opt for EDC delete from factory and save this money. You can have coil overs and change

Thanks Bob. I think the stock ZCP suspension is just fine with 20's. The only question remaining is tire size: 255/305 or 245/295- thats been discussed several times here and everyone seems to have a different opinion.

Both mike and I have 9J 255/30/20 fronts and 10,5J 295/25/20 rears

Offset you must get is 20 front and 23 rears

Interesting. I also have an Edition model in alpine white, but that MC Blue looks lower than mine, especially for the front, mine has a bigger gap than that.

you guys are both forgetting the rims and tires fill the wheel well more than your stock zcp wheels. When I switched to my Vred tires which are 255/275, the gap decreased and my car "looked" lower..
