They take your stock one in exchange for one they've already modified.

It would be nice to know if there is something in OC similar to Best Muffler (La Crescenta) that can perform the mod, but not necessarily EAS. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them. Their work is great.

Just responded to you in the other thread.

Mufflers are pre-modified in order to eliminate wait time. Simply exchange and go!

There are others in So Cal, not sure about OC in particular. I'm curious as well.

There are probably other options but I'd say EAS is probably the best option. You don't want to run into any issues and EAS is proven.

Mesa Muffler is well respected but don't know if they've done this before. They're in Costa Mesa in Harbor South if the 405.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
