Post This individual interior possible?

Hey guys,

I currently have a Jerez Black M3 Convertible on order with ED on March 31. I've been hesitating a lot about the interior color. I could go fox red, dual tone red/black or black...

Then I saw this interior:

http://www.autophotive.com/2011/01/0...frica/?pid=265

I'm sure you guys saw the car, it's a limited edition in SA, black with red stitching. Is it something that would be offered/available/accepted with the individual interior program that BMW does? Or since it's a limited edition is it guaranteed to get rejected?

Any insight appreciated!

Probably will get rejected.

Z1XX - Amarone Nvillo Extended Leather

ZACM - Champagne Novillo Extended Leather

ZAP2 – Rust Brown Novillo Extended Leather

ZAC8 – Platinum Novillo Extended Leather

Are the only ones I've been told you can have as an Individual

It may be possible. I would check with your CA as you may still have time to change your interior depending on how far your car is into production.

Thanks for the quick reply. Shame though... the red stitching looks so bad ass.

This has been done before, here is the original post

You need to get hold of Christine Fleischer from BMW.

She should be able to make this happen if you really want it.

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=389377

She also made this combo possible on an M6

I'm working with BMW of Salem in Oregon, so far they have been really awesome! But I don't even know if they have ever done individual interior, so I'm going to have to talk to them about it. I have a great price negotiated with them, I hope they don't just tell me "no can't do" right away.

You could try to get hold of Christine Fleischer from BMW first and tell her about all the things she has done to individualize a bmw. Then ask her if she can help you on the order. If she is willing to do it then she can get in touch with your dealership or vice versa and get the order placed.

I placed an individual interior order on 12/31 and the cost is ~2300 invoice. Not sure if your will cost the same but be prepared for that increase.

Do you have a number or email address she can be reached at? (PM or email at julien.ellie at gmail dot com). 2300 invoice is a little less than I was expecting, so that's awesome.

I guess I can't PM so email would work! Or if anyone has a contact with BMW individual that I could forward to my dealer, it would be really appreciated.

Damn, those m6 colors are nice!! I am waiting on a response to a similar interior as Mark's M.

Does Christine work for a particular dealer or is she a Munich contact? I would like her info as well to pass along to my CA if you have it.

Sounds like she works in Munich. Been looking for a contact with BMW Individual on google but no luck so far. I'm pretty sure Christine doesn't want anyone in the world who wants an individual BMW to reach out to her directly , but can't hurt to try...

She works at BMW corporate, after seeing two posts where she helped customers really bought up the BMW brand in my books.

Contact MarkM in my links above. He mentioned he worked directly with her. Next option is to contact the M6 guy. Why don't you try email, first.last at bmw dot com .

He got an individual M keybox from her. She did the same for the M6 guy. May be you will also get one

that is for the leather plus the piano black is 980, if you want to go with it. I think you should if you get the stitched red leather.

Keep searching in Google... M Individual phone number is there so you can call and they will put you in contact with her -they will answer in English if you need it to. Let her give you her own email address.

That's what several members have done.

no, she doesn't! Christine works in M GmbH in Munich, and yes, you will have to contact her to get clearance on any individual options you may wanna do. She will then work with BMW NA's contact (Maria, or someone close to her) to get approval from BMW NA, and then your dealer.

Anything can be done to the interior, as long as you have funds!!! You can even put purple or kiwi colors in there if you really want, just be prepared to drop a nice chunk of change.
