great shots guys!

I played with +EV (exposing right) a couple weeks back, and the results were pretty good. I definitely need to experiment a little more with it to get it to where i would like it.

The benefits of using the histogram instead of watching the light meter only are huge.

CC- a lower angle to remove the round table and just get the black background.
Now to get over to a legendary bakery over here to get some pastries.

i framed it like that on my camera but my cropping in LR helped refine it

The Detroit-Superior bridge here in town, generally called the Veterans Memorial bridge. They open underneath the bridge like once a year for tours of the defunct "underground subway". I took the tour over the July 4th weekend and it was pretty cool. Amazingly, it was the largest steel and concrete reinforced bridge in the world when it was constructed.

I haven't gotten a chance to edit the rest of my pics from that day, but I'll get to it eventually.

i think it's a great shot, any way to bring the brighness down in the orangy yellow patch behind the car just so it isn't as strong?
