Because RACE CAR! j/k The seller converted to 5-lugs since he tracked the car (I would have done the same if he didn't). CLs are a pain in the arse to swap wheels out.

The formidable rear spoiler, not so much.
The spoiler is one of the things that makes the car sexy. That being said, the car is about 4 inch higher wing uprights than OEM for greater downforce but also to see better out the rear (with the stock uprights the wing blocks the top 1/3 of the back window).

With the 5 lug, you're missing out on carrying that 5 foot torque wrench to the track.

.
Fabspeed MaxFlo...basically track pipes coming off the cats with two small resonators. No thanks on the 5 foot torque wrench or a torque multiplier to change wheels.

Wait until the dust settles with the 991 germlins before buying one, like them catching on fire.

Same here man. I sold my second one to a member within a week. Great car but I want something different now.

Haha yes I saw. Ill be keeping an eye on it

The previous seller swapped out the ceramic rotors to steel ones and that's what one the car now. The ceramic rotors are sitting safely boxed up in my garage.

I bet those are worth a pretty penny. Hanging onto them come re-sell time?

You got it. At about $4k per corner they are very expensive paper weights for now. If and when the car gets retired from track duty, I'll put the ceramics back on the car.

That's because it's an RS.

That was a special color on the 993 Turbos back in the early 90s. The owner paid about $7k to get that color on the car. It's the only 997 and 996 GT3 with that paint color.

It is drop dead gorgeous, I love it! What's the name of this color? Never seen it before on any Porsche!

I'm dreaming of the day I add a 997.1 GT3 to the E92 M3
