Big Mistake?

Well i had some time on my hands and went over to the Benz dealer but the C63 they said they had was gone..bummer.
So after going to my BMW dealer and spoking to my SA..drove the 135i-nice but small then viewed their new truck the X6 which made me dazed and confused.
Then i went over to the Lexus dealer to see IS F. Dealer spoke with me about my 335i coupe and my wifes new G37.Then he asked if i wanted to take out the IS-F..i said lets go....
First i have never considered a lexus at all but after hitting the 3600 sweet spot and then hitting the on ramp at 80 then getting to 100 in an eyelash with that sound, i was laughing and creaming my pants. Was Black on Black and the dealer was very willing to deal..so what am I to do. Did I make a big mistake in driving this thing. Its not perfect just more fun then my 335. Any one think of trading in their bimmer for one?
Thanks.

I'm more than likely trading my 335 on a C63 in the next few weeks, but I've heard great things about the IS-F too.

No, no upgrade for me.

just go for a test drive... or drive a piggy backed car or Dinan flashed... and you'll save yourself quite a bit of $$$... just get the dinan flash

you obviously like it. it will be more reliable thats pretty much a fact. Dealer treatment you will get most likely will be 100 times better too. Why not? Don't hold yourself, if you like it, go for it. The IS is a great car. It has its issues but so do the bimmers.

It's just too heavy for me. 4,000 lbs and gas mileage to match. I preferred the IS300 tuned.

you'll get sick treatment at Lexus with an IS-F
they wouldn't want to disappoint you...

that's the only + I see for the IS-F over the C63...

Seriously though, I'd take the IS-F over the 335i anyday... But I wouldn't pay for it... And as someone already say, C63 FTW!!

I'd take a look at a C63 and an e90 M3 with DKG first.

I definitely wouldn't hold it against you.
C63 AMG is freaking amazing at very decent price.
What is the IS-F going for?

Find a picture to prove it. I haven't seen anything other than text to suggest otherwise.

?While previous reports have surfaced showing pre-production placeholders for the upper tips, our test vehicle was full-functional for all four.?

http://www.autospies.com/news/Review...-beat-it-22777

"Edmunds tested a preproduction model and made a misleading conclusion.
There is no IS-F "fake exhaust" on the real models."

Spend the little bit more and get the C63 if you're really interested in upgrading. The IS-F really looks quite ugly compared to the M3, the C63, and the RS4 redesign that will be out later on. That massive hood bulge and the glitzy add-ons they put on the car look horrible. I do love their interior and their seats though. The leather on all Lexuses is incredible!

I drove my friend's E92 M3 with MDCT the other day and boy that car is real nice. It's so smooth and fast. But the point is I can't afford a 75k+tax car, so I was thinking why don't I try the ISF since it's like 10k cheaper. Therefore, I made an appointment with Lexus for a test drive tomorrow. Now I am also afraid that once I drive a V8, I can't go back to a turbo. I totally understand how you feel. But there are couple things holding me back tho. First, the car isn't that good looking. Secondly, I can't stand how the exhaust looks. And last, the back seats are cramp. If these things don't bother you and money is not a problem, I think you should go for it. just my 2 cents
