What is this weird noise ??

I got SES light couple days ago. And it doesn't blinks it just stays when you start the engine. Then it says Emission increased. I drove about 60 miles like that. And then today I was driving Publix which is half mile to my house. I just got this weird sound and turned back to home. I found this video on the forum and I have the same sound. Its like another motor working. And when you push the gas it gets little bit louder and stops but it make more noise at low RPM...

Umm that is not good at all, sounds like metal on metal. If under warranty get to the dealer asap.

that is not coming from internal. It comes from outside equipment. And Car has 29k miles on it. People say it's a belt idler or tensioner bearing I don't understand car has 29k miles and I am very upset with this situation. I will be at dealer on Tue. Lets see what will happen...

wow, yeah definately sounds metal on metal by the metallic-like pinging. Otherwise, it could be an alternator too.

In all seriousness, are you talking about the tapping or the squealing sound? Also, where is the sound the loudest?

Ok. I found this previous video from this forum. And I decided to record mine today for you guys to hear what is wrong with mine. I just recorded and it is weird because there is no noise at all. Maybe it is cold start or something else but here is the video ; My wife pointing something but there is no noise at all. I was kind of happy but I don't know why it disappeared all of a sudden. I will drive to the dealer tomorrow. I hope it wont start on the way again...

Update : They diagnosed my car at the dealer. And so far SES Light came on because of Fuel rail pressure sensor. And yeah it makes rough start up for the engine. And they said there is no longer product available for 2008 models so they say we changed with 2013 part. and they need to update all my software on the ECU in order to use this part. Unfortunately i will pay $560. And my OBDII Cable came yesterday from Romania. And i just installed DIS V57,SSS/Progman, TIS, NcsExpert and INPA Ediabas. Otherwise i would fix by myself with $80.... But my concern was this weird noise. They say we will test the car after this process. And I hope this sound related with this sensor. Otherwise it will be another problem!! And i will let you know...

So far car works excellent. And Fuel rail pressure sensor really effected driving of this machine. M mode is just amazingly pushing the car now. And no noise at all. I hope it helps someone who has the same problem of mine...
