Been thinking about these for a winter vehicle...care to share a little more...operating costs, reliability, etc...obviously gas mileage will be abysmal but that's low on my list of priorities

Reliability is bad, but I got lucky with mine. Generally, electronics gremlins, cracked headers and heads, shredded front diff (if you don't properly lube your U joints), shit like that will go wrong. Only problem I ever had was a bad rear cargo door lock actuator. Also, stay away from the SLS (self leveling rear suspension).

If you're going to use it as a winter vehicle, I would definitely recommend NOT using the stock AS tires; they are 255's and will cause to to slide along above the snow. So, dedicated snows would be in order.

It's a great truck. I miss it. A lot.

My S2000. The 335 has a lot more usable power but I miss how I could take corners in the S2.

SRT-4 (neon or not it's one of the nastiest sounding fun top notch bang for buck cars made) $750 in power adders and I was putting down 250whp and almost 300ft lbs, stock quaife LSD, viper seats and only 2800-2900lb curb weight... Good stuff, FYI mine was clean, I can't stand 99% of people that drive them and what they do to them. Gives the car a bad label.

My 2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS. Custom engine work & performance tuned LS2 with AWD, awesome leather/suede seats, all options. Interior had some cheap plastic bits, but it ran high 12s in the quarter, towed a 6000 lb trailer, and never give me a problem over 60k miles. Wish I hung onto that thing even though it got 12 mpg (20+ on highway trips though).
