feeling the windshield wipers strokes on the clutch pedal.

Is anyone else experiencing this? it's rain season here in FL and everytime I turn my windshield wipers on I feel every stroke on the clutch, sometimes it's really annoying. Considering it's such an expensive car, I always think back to all the previous cars I've owned and don't recall anything like this happening.

Yeah I can feel them as well. Just another reason I removed them.

Why are you stepping on the clutch pedal long enough to feel it? You should only step on it to shift gears.

I'm not stepping on it long, but everytime I do, I fell it and it's kind of disturbing to have such an awesome car with such a weird problem.

My car's DCT but I feel it when I'm on the brake; definitely a little annoying. Must be a strong motor

I get what you're saying. The OEM wipers BMW uses are very loud. I've complained to my dealer, they replaced it under free maintenace at every oil change, but the new ones are just as loud.

Yeah, its annoying. Especially with all the rain we get in FL. I've got a 6spd and feel it with both the clutch and brake.

I can feel it now and could feel it on my 328i as well. It's some kind of E9x design patina.

Wipers are attached to the firewall and clutch/brake are also mounted to firewall...totally normal.

Seriously, I would have expected qualified high paid German engineers to have this issue resolved prior to production.

Occasionally, when the blade goes through the cycle and is going back into the park position, I hear a thud sound. Strange thing is that it doesnt happen all the time. But its pretty loud when it does happen. No consistencies on occurrences either, I.e, over 60mph, stop light, ect...

You are NOT feeling the windshield wipers through the clutch pedal. The brakes lightly grab the rotors every time the windshield wipers swipe the windshield to make sure they are free of moisture and ready for braking. This gets transmitted through the drivetrain to the clutch pedal.

You don't feel this in less expensive cars because it's not a feature on them. BMW actually engineered many features in our cars that I've noticed that I used to think were out of cheapness and make it look or feel cheaper but are actually done for a reason that improves the car in some way. Almost nothing on these cars is sacrificed for cheapness.
