09 E90 40k mi price check pls

Hey guys, I been looking to get a 4 door M3 for quite a few months. Friend has a friend who is testing the waters but wants $39,000. Seems a bit high compared to another thread (http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1113715) where he got it for a smoking deal.

But in the LA area, the closest I saw was a 2011 for $41.

Both have premium package, tint, moonroof.
Nothing else.
Clean title, carfax, and regular maintenance.
Going to do a full inspection with compression before I buy it though.
Is this a good deal or wait some more? I am expecting to spend a few thousand and replace the rod bearings too for peace of mind. Not sure what an extended warranty costs. Thanks in advance.

Personally I think that is a little too high. There is one for sale near me at a toyota dealership which is a 2009, 36k miles that they are asking 36k for. And another 2010 with 31k miles for 38.5k. Both 6mt, white E90's.

35k for a 2010?? Lol did I get robbed? I bought a 2011 E90 a year ago for 52k with 17k miles.. But loaded Certified preowned Comp package everything but the rear sunshade..
