m logo on tach?

The e92 m3's tach gauges the M logo doesn't light up with the rest of the tach. I'm pretty sure the e46 m3's M logo lit up. Is there a reason why the new m3's don't?

they just dont. I guess u just have to live with it or buy another car that does have light up logos.

Just go out and drive and enjoy the car, i dont get why ppl get all their panties in a bunch about the most trivial things.

You could always use the provided glove box flashlight to illiminate the M on the tach. Perhaps the right seat passenger could hold the flashlight for you.

Seriously not sure why they left it out. Maybe they forgot. Maybe it was intentional as M engineers/test drivers were overly mesmerized and couldn't stop looking at it during development.

I guess when you pay that much, the little things would be nice. It would be cool for it to illuminate, but I don't think any M car does.

It's the performance that makes the M special.

Cool pic.

Yeah, MY 2009 M3 E93 didn't come with one; If I had known that, I would have just kept the one from my MY 2007 335i

I agree. Something small like the lighting of a logo may seem trivial, but it's all part of what makes an M an M. Little things, like the stitching on the steering wheel, along with big things, like the engine.

I agree....The lit up logo would have been a nice touch but I can live without it.
