2010 997 Turbo PDK
So Autoweek has a test of the 2010 997 Turbo with PDK. And it sounds awesome. Article here: http://www.autoweek.com/article/2009...IEWS/910139990
Two things jumped out, first is a 0-100 time of 7 seconds and the second is this quote: "We don't want to get ourselves into a race for Nürburgring lap-time supremacy. The times we quote are not really representative because they are set on different days and in differing weather conditions" which is from August Achleitner, Porsche's head of passenger-car development. After the way they went after Nissan, that just made me laugh. |

That N-ring time matches up what I was told last week. It will be interesting when someone finally does a comparison test between the Mk2 997 turbo and the GTR, hopefully that comparison happens on the N-ring.
P.S. Smart move by porsche to put that little addition in when suggesting a lap time. |
