Manufacturers need to get over that CSL design and find something new. CSL is so played out its not even funny. Plus, there's so many reps available why would you even spend $5k on a set of wheels that look like every other $300 wheel on the market. Somebody needs to think outside the box.

Did you see the weight for a 20 inch?

This is NOT a CSL ripoff, the style is much more refined/modern.

I do agree with you that most need to get over the CSL and move on.

The actual weight doesn't really mean much unless you're tracking your car. But who tracks their car with 20" wheels. I've never looked at a wheel and said to myself "Wow that wheel looks light". For a street car, looks matter. It may be more refined than the CSL but it's still too close to justify spending that much on it unless you're tracking of course.

Means something to me to know I can go to a 20" and not gain significant mass in the wheels.

I've never looked at a wheel and said looks light, but I know I bought light wheels.

Exactly, for a street car looks matter so people will want 20" wheels that aren't a performance compromise.

You are saying that reducing your unsprung weight by almost 10lbs per wheel won't make a difference on the street???

That's like a 280lbs weight savings at speed. It makes a huge difference both in acceleration due to less rotational mass/inertia, and in handling... More weight spinning faster is harder to turn.

If guys wanted to track, they would of course use the 19" option that we have also....the 20" lightweight project was more for those who wanted to have a little fun and performance drive on the street, and go to a 20" wheel w/o adding extra weight...the ironic thing is that these 20s weigh less than most 19s lol....

Earlier in the thread you mentioned they would be coming out with more styles, any update on that?

Thanks!

Cheers,
