I also got mine in the mail yesterday. I can attest to the difficulty of installing them if you don't have small hands. The first one took about 30 min but the second took about 2 min.

I think they look great, much better than OEM.

Hi All - We have some bad news. We were expecting to pick up all of our parts today to start assembly, but there has been a hold up on a machine shop and we will not be able to get all the orders out by the end of this week. We are extremely sorry and this delay was less then expected. We will work 24 hours a day once we get parts to get them mailed as soon as possible . We are now looking at a new shipping date of 5/13/11 for all outstanding and new orders.

Again we are Extremely sorry and did not see this delay coming

Cooler than the previous versions or cooler than the uncoated Lux V3? I hate to be the weiner that asks, but is there a significant difference uncoated V3 to anodized V3? I have the early set...

I received mine last week and what a huge difference. I had the GP Thunders which were very dim. The Lux H8 are great. Now I've got to replace the H3 bulbs which are too yellow. Install wasn't too bad since I had already went through the learning curve several months ago with the GP Thunders.

is it just me or does it seem like the outer rings are not as bright as the inner rings?...is it just in the pic or is this apparent in real life?

The inner rings are always brighter, this is the design of the headlights. With the stock bulbs the inner rings are Much brighter. the LUX H8 V3 works to maximize the brightness of the outer ring to make the 2 as close as possible.

How is the non-coated vs. anodized temp evaluation going? Do they really run cooler and if so, how much?

I forgot that IR Temperature guns can not measure the temp of reflective surfaces, aka bare aluminum. I have something else i can use to check the temperature i just need to find it first - its a attachment to my multimeter

Also are these cooler temps beneficial only to the Lux V3 itself or to the OEM surrounding components and wiring inside the headlight assembly?

The Lux are truly the best! I had the AiB 3.0 and in my opinion these are far better. Great job!

These do look great but so did my Mtec V2's on my 2006 E90 at a fraction of the price. I just wonder why these are so much more expensive when they ultimately do the same thing? If these ever come on sale hit me up

your comparing apples and oranges. the pre-lci E90 sedan uses a completely different lighting setup then the E92's M3's, and E90 LCI's

For your car we offer the LUX E90 v5.1 which is priced less expensive

I will admit I do not know the hardware side of them I just know that the outcome is the same. I just wondered why they are so expensive compared to the others and if they ever came onsale I would grab a set. I do not have the 2006 E90 anymore. My new E90 M3 is getting on the ship about to head to its new home.

They do look great as I mentioned!

Just get them

They are worth it, I spent months trying to figure out what I was going to get and the LUX's are the BEST way to go

I may end up and do just that. The car is not here yet so I have time.

I am sure I would love them too
