Two Failed Skidpad difting Attempts from the Weekend

I was at summit point WV. I decided to give a shot at drifting in skidpad. turns out i am not ready yet.

I was on the 2nd gear all time with power button off, just couldnt manage to feather the throttle.

just kidding. I need it more than you do. Looks fun however. Engine sounded good. Maybe an expert can give advise. :-)

i remember when i went to the 1 day BMW M driving school
when we did the skidpad in the M6s
we were told to use 3rd gear, traction control off
and it was a lot of fun
i almost won that event
i started out against one other person
winner stays on
and i lost to the very last guy

I did figure 8 rat race with 1M in the M school, i thought we were using the second gear, maybe i am remembering it wrong, i managed to stay on the track all event as well but i was dizzy after driving in figure 8 for half hour.

i would try to keep both hands on the steering wheel (looking @ your 2nd day video) pretty difficult to catch countersteer with one hand esp if your starting off or at least ready your other hand near the wheel to catch
