Cape Fear Area for the Tarheel Chapter dinners will now be 3rd Wednesday of each month at the Panera Bread in front of Independence Mall (intersection of Oleander and Independence) in Wilmington at 6:30PM. Come dine and swap stories with other Cape Fear Area CCA members and prospective members! PM me with any questions - see you there!

What color is your car, I may have seen you turning in the sunday after Thanksgiving as I was headed back in to ILM from MB around 11 am ish. We're just starting to build a house in Belville, so I'm headed in your direction in 6-9 months.

Mineral Gray - that may well have been me, as I haven't seen another Mineral Gray 335i M-Sport in the area. Where in Belville are you building? Be sure to get in touch next time you're in the area!

Excellent! I love the darker grays. My '07 328 was the darker gray, but alas, they discontinued that until the F30 came out with your color, so, my M3 is Space Gray.

We're headed to Highland Shores...eventually.

No, I never got into that. I know that Tarheel Chapter (mostly the Charlotte & Raleigh folks) are big into track/autocross, but I'm not at all interested in doing any of that. Tires on these cars are just TOO expensive, not to mention the whole insurance/liability thing (speaking about track, not autocross).

And my 07 E92 335i was that "sparkling graphite" color...had a bit of a purple undertone. My wife's 128i convertible is also Space Gray.

So you'll be very close to Brunswick Forest - just on the other side of us off of 133, according to the map. BF backs up to Mallory Creek and will eventually have a road connecting us over to 133, so we won't be far. Great looking real estate in Highland Shores!

Well, I'll encourage you to come out and at least say hello this Saturday if you have time. I'll have the M3 autoxing for the first time then. It's at Cape Fear CC North Campus.

Yes, I've been in BF several times and played golf there a handful. Love that course.

No telling...as the AC, I know of nearly 100 CCA members in New Hanover/Pender/Brunswick County areas (that's what my list shows). Guess they aren't aware of this forum. Conversely, I know of quite a few BMW owners who aren't members of BMW CCA here in the area as well.

It was raining pretty good out here in Brunswick Forest, and didn't dry out until late morning; that, and there were some conflicting items on the wife's agenda. Meets during the winter months are iffy for us - we'd both prefer not to be out in cold/rain, etc. Let's see what February brings.

One last item - we're planning a BMW CCA CF Area dinner on Wednesday, 1/21, 6:30PM at the Panera Bread Co. in front of Independence Mall. Let me know if you can make it - I need to get a headcount for the restaurant.
