The Customer said his front tire went flat and "caused this"

That's pretty wicked. I had a set of iForged wheels on the P car a while back and had the wheel just break on me as well. Was pretty depressing. Was just driving like normal, got onto the highway, noticed a one of my wheels was flat and saw that one of the spokes cracked causing it to leak air. Now, I can care less about wheels. :P

Ok so are the wheels posted OEM BMW wheels or aftermarket? I'm thinking heavy impact. Hard to think wheels just explode like that without some sort of heavy impact or loading.

Years ago a buddy of mine had a '76 Trans Am, crashed it hard as he came over a dirt hill and hit another car. Everyone survived but his TA was destroyed. The front right wheel, I think it was, broke just the same way, but of a heavy impact so I don't know but can crap aftermarket wheels just break like this?

I've seen aftermarket wheels have complete malfunctions before similar to this but this one is fairly extreme. I think the link it was posted in stated that the car collided into a curb.

///M badge is pretty clear on the wheel, so if they're aftermarket, they're, um, forged. :
