You just modded your wallet/bank account to be 30% lighter.

Dinan upgrades need to been done as packages. So in your case you got the tune and the intake but forgot the exhaust. These 3 must be done together. There are some tunes out there that claim good gains but Dinan's tune is made to compliment other Dinan parts. It's no good as a stand alone tune. That's not their game. Those of us in the Dinan camp will tell you that we weren't after S/C type gains. Quality through good R&D, warranty support, great looking products and some HP gain were my goal. And the fact that I owned a Dinan E36 ///M3 didn't hurt.................Phil

What would you expect to feel from an additional 30 hp when you already have 420 hp to start with?

I have no experience with the Dinan tune but the intake is one of the best on the M3 market. Fitment is spot on.

lol I alot of things could come to play what are the other mods that you have done some times you don't start seeing gains that some parts claim until you have a conjunction of parts to add along with it..

Too little a % increase in power to feel a big difference IMO. Also, there is an adaptation period.

Full exhaust will make your pants tingle.

I'm not sure if you represent them, but if this is the case, they should have warned a potential customer before he bought only two pieces of the puzzle. Shady if they didn't.

If you want any gains, get the mid pipe and exhaust.

No I don't represent Dinan, but the homework piece of this puzzle is on the OP. There are way too many post and other information sources available to help someone make a solid decision. Now I'm not bashing the OP just stating that Dinan like other manufactures sell "stuff" and I'm sure if the OP had called them and asked questions he would have made the proper adjustments. If he didn't purchase these items directly from Dinan then Dinan has nothing to do with this. You can't blame Sony for a tv that isn't 3D if you purchased it from Best Buy and the sales person didn't qualify you to get your needs, wants and desires. Now the OP has a couple of choices, either buy the the exhaust in conjunction with the intake and tune or sell the intake, walk away and buy something else. Speaking from my personal experience I've never had one problem with Dinan. And as I stated in my other post, this isn't my first rodeo and again for the record.....I'm a consumer just like you guys.......I just happen to like Dinan's product............Phil

The OP should have done your research....

we all know that no matter what bolt on mods your going to do to the car wont gain much of HP... unless its the xpipe catless exhaust.

no matter what mods we add to the car IE: intake, filter, pulley and with a tune it will be very unlikely to feel the difference since your gain might be just 5-10HP. most likely less in a real world.

we all know that if you want to make the best power on our cars is replacing the OEM xpipe to an aftermarket without cat.... and to get the most is tuning it with the xpipe mod in it.

NOW: i think the OP jus wasted $$$$$$$ on something that can be achieve with other mods (brands) that is cheaper and better. I say better cause its cheaper LOL... with the same results. or yet better.

so now to the OP.... Get your xpipe and you will feel a big difference and since you already have the other mods, you will feel a difference...
