Beautiful car and a great place for a photo op. Thanks for all the follow up on the questions. Frozen seems like a great paint option.

Cheers

I hate this rumor......it was founded in the late 80's and no longer applicable. The amount of scratches you will get from dust blowing over your car is more than you will get from a GOOD soft-cloth car wash. They don't swirl and they don't scratch. I should know, I was a pro-detailer for years, and the clients with the mercs, bmws and porches who didn't take it to a good car wash, and rather hand washed it once a week or so were no better off at the end of the year when they came to us then the ones who took it once and sometimes twice a week to a GOOD soft-cloth car wash.

Cheers,
e46e92

Smile Help with ordering frozen gray

* Showing Visitor Messages 1 to 1 of 1

Today 05:00 PMdefm.
Comgratulations , you car is perfect. I was called today by BMW in Costa Rica and they said I could finally order my 2011 M3 with ZCP . My previous choice was SG with Fox red, carbon leather and M-DCT, but now there is a Low posibility of getting Frozen Gray and zcp please help with any coments or sugestionsThis is my first M3 and I've waited for 23 months and it Seems like a lifetime.I can not visualize how frozen gray, fox red and zcp would look like. The only other M3 here are AW+bieige and sparkling grafite andblack. Plese folks help needed soon because I have to place the order by month end. Does FG require any particular care, is it similar to SG

Do you get a discount for getting primer on your car instead of paint? I hardly think this is the "most incredible look" we can get on our M's. I would take every other standard color before I took this color. My Jerez may be more common, but is certainly a better look in my opinion.

I was assuming that the auto-wash he was referring to would have been a touch-less one. The touch-less auto washes we have here don't touch your car with anything and is just like power washing it yourself. Although I don't know if there are chemicals in the water to increase washing power.
