Rear defroster jamming radio

Does anyone else have issues with their rear defroster jamming the radio? I used the defroster for the first time tonight and got nothing but static on the radio when the defroster was on. Radio worked fine when the defroster was off. I have tint but it\'s ceramic. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Anybody have any ideas on this? I'm able to replicate it. Looks like a trip to the dealer may be in the cards for me

If you have some tinfoil in the house, try fashioning one of these and placing it over the radio.

Glad I could help.

Maybe it's the tint.

Might be the tint... I have window tint as well and finally turned on the defroster while having the radio on for the first time. Same issue.

True ceramic tint should not have any impact to the electrical or RF properties of the vehicle. That is one of the benefits of ceramic tint.

Did this issue occur immediately after the installation of the window tint? Is the impact to both AM and FM bands?
