Alright so I got the 240e DME update and the DCT update as well. I spent sometime driving the car this weekend and notice a few things.
-The car idles at slightly lower revs -Power delivery is feels smoother throughout the revs
-I think the car shifts gears at lower revs in D mode
-throttle feels a little more responsive in D mode
-the car feels like a different car with the new update


I am satisfied with increased overall drivability of the car. I am not sure if the DTC software update affected my perception as well but I am glad I did this update.

Hi folks. My left daytime running light (halo) went out this week - looks like I need to pick up an H8 bulb.

Anyone know if they can be found locally? (Edmonton)

Or where in Canada to order from?

Mine were replaced by Bavaria BMW. They burned out rather quickly, shit bulbs I guess or they prob run really hot so short life.

canadian tire has them (exact same as oem bulbs). get both at the same time, on my car, both burned out within days of each other.

H8? Nothing up here.

H8 is pretty common size. You should be able to find them anywhere.

I am unaware of any shop that has done thi mod in town. I have approached a couple in town, and they said they wouldn't do it...

I know Dr. Anthony did it himself and had someone weld it shut aferwards...

I will be doing the OEM mod - perferated pipes being coverd next weekend possibly, so will let you know how that goes...
